Resume

This intervention aims to consolidate the Kenyan Child Protection Network at both national and county levels. In Nairobi, the network will serve as a model for supporting the transition of children from institutional to family- and community-based care, through capacity-building for government officials, sensitization of grassroots organizations, and the development of a sustainability plan. The intervention will expand the network to two new rural counties - Siaya and Uasin Gishu - embedding care reform principles, particularly disability inclusion and deinstitutionalization. Another key focus is improving data management to enhance progress monitoring, informed decision-making, and government collaboration to ensure the long-term sustainability of having a civil society approach to the reform across Kenya.
