The proposed project aims to reduce the consequences of climate change in 2 climate-vulnerable Upazilas by engaging adolescent girls and civil society by strengthening capacities, awareness & education, referral, income generation and advocacy for SRHR. Twelve adolescents friendly SRHR Information Corner (SIC) will be established which will enrich capacity of 720 adolescents’ girls on SRHR. About 24 Youth Ambassadors are capacitated who will look after these SIC. Besides, 540 civil society members and stakeholders will be engaged to conduct advocacy program with related service providers and institution for ensuring Water and Sanitation, livelihoods and Primary HealthCare. In addition, 36 girls will be supported to establish 02 adolescent-led social enterprise producing affordable sanitary pads resulting self-sustainability, leadership, and management capacity. The project will contribute to gender equality, climate challenges, and stronger local civil society in the project area.
