This project is built on the achievements from Phase I and II and will continue empowering young teenage mothers and other school dropouts. One of the important lessons learnt is that we need also to involve boys and men. They have been key drivers for creating positive attitude and mindset change in favour of girl child education and fight against teenage pregnancies. Sex education, family life education and reproductive health will be included, because it is an area filled with ignorance and prejudice. In order to prevent the problem of unwanted pregnancies among very young girls Phase III will bring on board 100 new out of school teenage mothers and boys and also include 200 primary school pupils aged 10-15, both girls and boys. Kitchen gardens will be established at two selected schools, so the pupils can have a meal, in order to reduce dropouts and improve health. The advocacy groups and associations formed in Phase II will be supported and two new trades will be introduced.
