Dansomala together with local partner Badbaado are applying for a CBI intervention to help the displaced people from Lasanood, Sool where a strong war between the Somaliland army and the SSC forces has been going on the last three weeks. This project proposing to help the most vulnerable IDP families of total 310 HH fled from Lasanod in to near villages. Dansomala and Badbaado have been operating this SSC area many years and we have implemented many projects icluding 6 projects funded by CISU/DERF the last 4 years. Dansomala has raised this call 23-004-SP Violent Conflict in Sool Region Somaliland to support the vulnerable IDP families in villages near bay Lasanod who are suvering from drought, poverty and now armed conflict in Lasanod. We hope you can understand how much it means to us to support these vulnerable IDP families affected by Lasanod conflict, since we are known in this area and they are expecting to get support from CISU/DERF and Dansomala/Badbaado.
