The project aims to strengthen the rights, well-being, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community in Moldova over a 12-month period, while enhancing the long-term sustainability and strategic capacity of GENDERDOC-M. The project combines direct support, advocacy, and organizational strengthening. Key activities include providing free legal support and pursuing strategic litigation, training public workers support groups and trainings for LGBTQ+ groups. Public understanding and visibility of LGBTQ+ rights will be promoted through coordinated planning of Moldova Pride 2027 and the production of an LGBTQ+ podcast series that counters harmful narratives. The project also prioritizes staff well-being and strategic planning to safeguard continuity. The intended change is improved access to justice, increased resilience and support within the LGBTQ+ community, more responsive public institutions, and GENDERDOC-M being a stronger, more sustainable LGBTQ+ civil society actor in Moldova.
