Resume

DPEs strategies are to facilitate public participation, grassroots engagement, open communication and food sovereignty. DLN’s strategies are to support development in Lesotho and promote contact between Danes and Basotho. The programme will facilitate community engagement in local and national policy processes through digitalisation of DPEs activities and provide communities with a platform for developing own advocacy initiatives. The programme will strengthen DPEs capacity to mobilise communities to participate in advocacy thereby strengthening its influence and legitimacy. Community members are empowered to engage advocacy to claim their rights and improve their livelihoods. Increased digitalisation of activities will improve DLN’s opportunities to engage with the programme and participants and improve DLNs capacity to carry out information work and engage people in Denmark.
