Resume

The intervention aims to bring immediate relief and support to the people affected by the flood crisis in Dokolo district, Uganda. Through targeted measures addressing food security, NFIs, and WASH, a signifi-cant reduction in hunger, malnutrition, and waterborne diseases among the affected population is ex-pected. In the short term, upon completion of the intervention, it is anticipated that the most vulnerable groups will experience improved living conditions, reduced health risks, and enhanced resilience to future crises. 1) The intervention will provide rapid food assistance to those who are most vulnera-ble, preventing further deterioration of their living conditions and health. 2) By addressing critical WASH needs, the intervention will help prevent outbreaks of waterborne diseases as well as malaria; and supply materials that are crucial for the safety and well-being of the victims. 3) Sensitizing communities on best flood resilience practices will minimize future crises.
