Resume

The intervention aims to address the 'communicative gap' experienced by the Chiquitano and Guarasugwé Indigenous Peoples in the TIOC Bajo Paraguá region of Eastern Bolivia. This gap stems from their remoteness, limited resources, and inadequate social networks, which hinder their ability to advocate for their rights and needs effectively. The communication training is based on photovoice and writing methodologies. These methods refer to capacity building in photography and written communication in three different communities, enabling the youth, educators and authorities to tell their stories and advocate for change. The main activities include nine workshops focusing on: 1) Photography and photovoice to visually document and communicate community issues. 2) Storytelling to enhance written communication skills for persuasive advocacy. 3) Practical training on engaging with autorities navigating administrative processes.
