Through multi-purpose cash assistance, provision of food items and distribution of household kits the intervention aims at bringing immediate relief and restore dignity to vulnerable populations in hard-to-reach and underserved areas of Sagaing Region and Chin State, who have been significantly impacted by the March 2025 earthquake, either directly or though secondary impacts. The ural, hard-to-reach communities targeted by the project have received little to no humanitarian assistance to date. The intervention will be implemented by the Myanmar-based staff of Chin Human Rights Organization in close collaboration with the local leaders and civil society networks, and will be overseen by CHRO office in Aizwal, India.
