Dansomala proposes a cash assistance program for the most vulnerable people in the Sool and Ayn region, where the immediate COVID19-related human crisis is greatest. Dansomala focus will be the rural area where, according to World Bank blogs (https://blogs.worldbank.org/voices/covid-19-will-hit-poor-hardest-heres-what-we-can-do-about- it) stressed that many of the new poor are likely to be found in cities, while rural areas, which tend to be poorer to begin with, will experience a deterioration in living conditions and a deepening of poverty. The villages of the Sool and Ayn regions have no awareness of how dangerous COVID19 is and what needs to be done to combat COVID19. The vulnerable families receiving cash assistance must implement the stay at home principle. Following consultation with local partner Badbaado in the Sool region, Dansomala will propose intervention to urgently need cash assistance for the target group of vulnerable people, including the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, people with disabilities, women, children and young people in 10 villages in the Sool and Ayn regions.
