The intervention aims to provide life-saving relief to 1,291 farming households (total of 6455 persons) in Jovellar Municipality, in the province of Albay in the Philippines, who are affected by the drought crisis through: - Restocked household necessities through provision of food and non-food items of which farming households have depleted supplies due to income losses from damaged or lost harvests; - Improved food security and production capacity through delivery of farming inputs such as seeds and poultry livestock; and targeting 30% of the three biggest farming barangays - 1638 persons - through - Better water supply from provision of storage tanks and rainwater collection systems, with additional assistance for groundwater recharge and other sustainable water management practices.
