LGBT+ Denmark wishes to increase engagement of the LGBTIQ+ youth, especially BIPOC and migrants, in Copenhagen and Aarhus for SOGIESC rights in the Global South, in order to switch common narratives from charity approaches to global cooperation. As part of our international team, the intervention’s efforts will lead to more LGBTIQ+ youth, joining our global volunteers' team. They will engage in training, meetings, and workshops to be supported in organizing events and activities about global LGBTIQ+ rights in Denmark. The global volunteers’ team will be supported by LGBT+ Denmark to plan and coordinate events with this focus during mass meetings, town fairs, festivals, etc, to work with the Tunisian organization Mawjoudin and the Ugandan organization Sauti Youth Foundation to coordinate joint events hosted in several countries, and to participate in lobbying, advocacy, and campaigning activities to support the international advocacy efforts of partners in the global south.
