The intervention aims to reduce protection risks and improve psycho-social wellbeing of 650 earthquake-affected children and adolescents and their immediate families in 4 partner schools in Cali and Yumbo, during a four-month rapid response. Through the provision of emergency school kits, dignity kits, targeted food and NFIs for the most vulnerable families, as well as school-based psychosocial support, the project will address urgent humanitarian needs while reducing protection risks and supporting educational continuity. Teachers and school staff will be trained in Psychological First Aid (PFA) and basic psychosocial support to strengthen schools' capacity to identify and support children experiencing distress and refer those requiring specialised assistance.
