Come To Work (CTW)

CTW has operated in the North-western part of Bangladesh since 1984. The goal of CTW is to bring a positive change in the sustainable socio-economic development of the destitute and downtrodden people in its target area through a participatory way. To do this CTW: • builds capacity and reduces the vulnerabilities of the poor, especially woman, children, disabled and ethnic minority groups • develops local organization & leadership to enhance democratic governance • empowers the poor through education, knowledge, skill & resource sharing. • ensures income and employment generation through livelihood development. • ensures agricultural, industrial and environmental support enhancing indigenous & modern technology/ concepts. • enhances local entrepreneurship through quality & better market channels. • ensures health and nutritional services at community level. • ensures right-based dignified life and societies by eliminating discriminations and violence. CTW conducts micro-finance activities with 22252 members in 947 groups, almost all are women.
