NATURE KENYA, Africa’s oldest scientific membership society, established in 1909, is legally registered Society with 1100 members. The mission is connecting nature and people for a sustainable future. In 2022-2032 Nature Kenya will save species, conserve sites and habitats, foster ecological sustainability, and build support for nature. Nature Kenya’s work is based on science, action & partnership. We use-up-to date science to catalyse positive action for biodiversity by and for partners—Government, local communities and the private sector. Nature Kenya takes practical action. We work with and for people – to improve their quality of life as they conserve nature. We collaborate with others wherever possible, at local, national, regional or global levels, linking with community groups, governments, businesses, universities, and civil society groups
