SOS Children’s Villages in Somaliland is officially registered with the Ministry of Planning and National Development under Somaliland NGO Law under registration number: L.43. 31. 2074. 2025 M/J, as an international non-governmental organization operating in the humanitarian and development sector in Somaliland. In Somaliland, SOS Children’s Villages has been operational since 1999, beginning with an Education Program (Sheikh Secondary School) in Sahil Region. Over the years, the organization has grown steadily and now operates across all six regions of Somaliland. With four main offices and a committed team of 108 staff members, SOS Somaliland has developed deep roots within communities. Since then, we have reached over 461,910 children, youth, and caregivers through holistic child protection, family and youth empowerment, education, and emergency response interventions.
