SOS Children's Villages in Somaliland

SOS Children’s Villages is a global federation operating in over 2,000 program locations across 137 countries and territories, with a shared vision that every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect, and security. In Somaliland, SOS Children’s Villages has been operational since 1999, beginning with an Education Program (Sheikh Secondary School) in Sahil Region. Over the years, the organization has grown steadily and now operates across all six regions of Somaliland. With four main offices and a committed team of 108 staff members, SOS Somaliland has developed deep roots within communities. Since then, we have reached over 461,910 children, youth, and caregivers through holistic child protection, family and youth empowerment, education, and emergency response interventions.
