NIKA Generation (operating the YEP! Moldova programs) was established with a transformative vision: to shape a new generation of entrepreneurs in Moldova. Recognizing that a thriving society requires a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem, we launched as a bridge between local talent and global opportunities. Over the past years, we have evolved from a startup incubator into a key regional stakeholder. We have successfully scaled our impact from the capital to the most remote regions of Moldova, implementing high-level projects in partnership with international donors such as USAID, UN Women, and UMAEF, and reacting agilely to regional challenges, including the socio-economic integration of Ukrainian refugees Our mission is to build a sustainable and innovative entrepreneurial culture through four strategic pillars: Networking: We build bridges between entrepreneurs, mentors, and international partners. We connect local talent, including women and youth from villages and regional cities, to a global ecosystem of experts. Investments: We facilitate access to capital and resources. Through our accelerators and hackathons, we provide the platform for early-stage startups and SMEs to secure the funding and tools necessary for growth. Knowledge: we provide high-quality entrepreneurial and digital education. From Startup 101 for teenagers to Marea Digitalizare for SMEs, we equip our participants with the practical skills needed to thrive in a modern economy. Advocacy: We represent the interests of the startup and innovation community. We advocate for policies and environments that support entrepreneurship as a tool for social resilience and economic stability. All NIKA Generation initiatives are impact-driven. We are committed to inclusivity, ensuring our programs reach beyond the capital to include participants from diverse rural communities.
