There is a significant difference in the number of applications received for the three modalities. CSP Small Project received 36 applications with a total requested amount of DKK 5.3 million, while CSP Large Project received 64 applications, requesting a combined DKK 38.8 million.
Naboskab Small Project received 21 applications with a total requested amount of DKK 3.7 million.
In total, the applications request DKK 47,896,054. By comparison, 102 applications were received in the most recent application round in January, when a total of just over DKK 44 million was requested across the modalities available at the time.
A high number of applications was expected
The high number of applications does not come as a surprise, as a large number of applications was expected for this round.
A few new applicants have also entered the round, but the vast majority are organisations that have previously applied to the CSP or Naboskab Fund.
The applications will now be processed through the grant system.
Funding may be adjusted
As a starting point, DKK 3.4 million has been allocated to CSP Small Project and DKK 11.4 million to CSP Large Project, while a total of DKK 4 million has been allocated to the round. However, these amounts will be updated as the response deadline approaches, when unused funds from completed grants will be added to the available funding.
The processing of the many applications will now begin, so organisations will have to be patient while their applications are being reviewed.
