On 1 September 2026, DERF closed for new alerts and Early Action applications after allocating the remaining funds to the calls for Bangladesh, Colombia and Nepal. The grants approved under these calls totalled less than the allocated amounts, leaving funds available to support additional humanitarian responses.
Please note that this reopening applies only to alerts under the Rapid Response modality. It is still not possible to apply for funding under the Early Action modality.
