Læseforeningen
Læseforeningen arbejder på tværs af samfundets sektorer i krydsfeltet mellem kultur, sundhed, psykiatri- og socialområdet. Gennem de sidste 15 år har Læseforeningen udviklet og implementeret en frivilligbåret indsats for nogle af landets mest udsatte og sårbare grupper med udgangspunkt i GUIDET FÆLLESLÆSNING (GFL) af skønlitteratur. Metoden består i al enkelhed af “live” højtlæsning af prosa og poesi, forberedt og udvalgt af en uddannet læseguide, og faciliteret samtale, der knytter an til litteraturen gennem det levede liv. Læseforeningen samler i dag ca. 220 aktive læseguider og på baggrund af kommunale aftaler og fondsstøtte til specialiserede udviklingsprojekter mødes ugentligt omkring 170 læsefællesskaber. Ca 85% af alle læsefællesskaberne er bundet til særlige målgrupper gennem tidsbegrænset udviklingsstøtte og hovedparten af grupperne er i København, Aarhus og Odense.
