Resume

The project purpose is to improve monitoring and response to changing community needs during the heating season in Boyarka, Korop, Snovsk, Berezan, and Vinnytsia, with a specific focus on energy sustainability for vulnerable populations. The proposed action is informed by reports from the last heating season in these communities, where response plans were not adaptable when community needs changed, causing delayed heating and energy support. The project intends to enhance this support through mapping services and responding to gaps. This will include information dissemination, strengthening community governance through the development of community cooperatives, and facilitating advocacy across the communities. Through these mechanisms, the project hopes to improve the community-led resilience initiatives and strengthen the capacity of vulnerable groups to withstand and respond to the pressures of the heating season.
