Resume

Rebuild Aid, in partnership with Saifrood Unity and Aid Organization, will deliver rapid emergency Multi Purpose Cash Assistance to 220 households affected by recent flooding in Badghis Province, Afghanistan, from 15 May to 14 September 2026. The intervention targets highly vulnerable families who have experienced sudden loss of shelter, livelihoods, agricultural land, and essential assets, leaving them at immediate risk of food insecurity, health complications, and harmful coping strategies. Each household will receive cash support covering three months of minimum survival needs, enabling timely access to food, healthcare, hygiene items, and shelter related costs through local markets. The intervention aims to save lives, protect dignity and choice, and stabilise household conditions during the acute phase of the emergency, while reducing protection risks and preventing further deterioration of wellbeing among women, children, elderly people, and individuals with chronic illness.
