The ASP program unites ACEAA and Aktion Amazonas to strengthen civil society and tackle environmental and socio-economic challenges in the Bolivian rainforest. By leveraging the partnerships’ shared expertise in data driven forest conservation and evidence-based advocacy the program promotes locally led devel-opment aimed at protecting the rainforest sustainably through building robust forest-based economies, strong governance skills and public awareness. Key activities include strengthening collaboration and con-servation skills among 110 local indigenous and frontline community leaders and public officials, organiz-ing 150 community forest patrols members, improving forest-based livelihood of approx. 300 families, and engaging 7,700 people in supporting the protection of the Amazon.
