Resume

The intervention will provide timely, one-time multipurpose cash assistance to 1.000 vulnerable flood-affected households in Pekua & Banshkhal in Cox’s Bazar district and Satkania &Chakaria in Chattogram district. Each selected household will receive BDT 10.000 through mobile money, enabling households to prioritise their own most urgent basic needs, such as food, medicines, essential household items, transport and minor repairs to damaged homes. The intervention prioritises households facing heightened vulnerability and will use transparent, community-informed selection criteria. Through the assistance, vulnerable flood-affected households are expected to be better able to meet their basic needs in a timely and dignified manner, while maintaining choice and flexibility in how the assistance is used.
