Our Able Future, led by the national association ENAPAL and its consortium partners, aims to improve the health and economic opportunities of persons with disabilities and persons affected by leprosy in Fedis Woreda, through changes in norms, practices, and policies of public authorities. Our Able Future will realize change by building a strong civil society (Outcome 1) and fostering effective engagement between civil society and capacitated public authorities (Outcome 2). Key strategies include building the capacities of civil society organizations and public authorities, setting up platforms for advocacy, piloting health and economic initiatives that showcase the benefits of inclusion, and facilitating successful lobbying and advocacy. The programme, spanning three years with a budget of 2,5 million DKK, seeks to create a replicable model for strengthening civil society and local governance, contributing to long-term improvements in the lives of persons with disabilities and person
