Resume

Since the onset of the US-Israeli war on Iran on 28 February 2026, the West Bank has faced direct consequences: interceptor missile debris striking Palestinian communities, Israeli-imposed movement restrictions severing access to healthcare and disrupting medical supply chains, and acute fuel shortages disrupting logistics. Unlike Israeli settlements, Palestinian refugee camps have no shelters or warning systems. For vulnerable populations - patients with chronic illnesses, children with diabetes, infants with specialized nutritional needs, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities - these disruptions are immediately life-threatening. This 4-month intervention (May-August 2026) provides targeted health assistance to 1,951 individuals across eight West Bank refugee camps. Alrowwad will procure and distribute essential medications, insulin, infant formula, medical assistive devices, and hygiene items, mitigating the rapidly escalating health deterioration caused by the regional war.
