Resume

The project is a cash assistance intervention aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals affected by the severe flooding in northeastern and southeastern Bangladesh in August 2024. The intervention focuses on providing financial support to 7,725 vulnerable individuals in the hardest-hit areas, including Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, and Chattogram. The cash assistance will help these affected families meet urgent needs, such as food, shelter, healthcare, and transportation, and aid in their recovery. By offering direct financial aid, the project aims to empower the most at-risk populations, such as female-headed households, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities, to manage their immediate needs and begin rebuilding their lives.
