Resume

This small project seeks to improve the psychosocial wellbeing, leadership, and civic participation of 12 conflict-affected youth through a Youth-Led Support System Network (YLSSN) and a pilot micro grant mechanism. 12 youth leaders selected from Lombay Ka Marawi’s (LKM) existing youth members and chapter network, will be trained in leadership, peer support, basic MHPSS, safeguarding, and project management, and will establish 2 peer support groups. The four groups will identify and respond to priority needs among young people in their communities by implementing small community-led psychosocial and resilience initiatives through a pilot micro-grant scheme. Building on LKM’s existing organisational structures, the four LKM appointed Community Facilitators will mentor and support the youth leaders. The project will document lessons from the pilot to strengthen DIB and LKM’s future approaches to youth-led interventions with peer support and micro-grants.
