Resume

This humanitarian intervention addresses the urgent needs of Palestinian children and families in Gaza and the West Bank, where ongoing Israeli aggression has caused mass displacement, trauma, and resource shortages. Through 850 educational/recreational kits and 850 hygiene kits, it provides immediate relief to 1,700 families. Psychosocial support (PSS) reaches 1,060 vulnerable individuals—including children, youth, caregivers, and frontline workers—through structured activities in 10 locations. Targeting displaced populations, the intervention prioritizes gender equity (50% female participation) and trauma recovery. Implemented by Tamer Institute, a local partner with 30+ years of experience, the response leverages existing networks to ensure rapid, culturally appropriate aid. Activities begin within 7 days of funding, complementing broader humanitarian efforts while filling critical gaps in mental health support—and aligns with DERF principles (CHS).
