Resume

This project strengthens community-based disability services for Palestinian refugees in camps and gatherings in Lebanon. Implemented by Taawon together with three Palestinian grassroots disability-focused organisations, the project is grounded in locally led development and a human rights-based approach. The project contributes to strengthened organisational and technical capacity of Palestinian disability-focused organisations, improved inclusive early childhood education practices in kindergartens, and increased awareness and supportive attitudes among caregivers and communities. Through targeted capacity development, adaptation and use of an inclusive KG2 resource manual, and structured awareness activities, the project improves service quality, inclusive practice, and coordination at community level. Children with disabilities benefit indirectly through more inclusive learning environments, strengthened support services, and improved community awareness
