Organisationen for Fred og Udvikling i det Sydlige Somalia (OFUSS)

OFUSS is an independent, non-religious, non-political, and non-profit organization founded on 23 June 2007 in Denmark by Somali intellectuals and professionals. The organization works to promote peace, development, social inclusion, and community empowerment in both Denmark and Somalia. As a member of the Nordic Union for Somali Peace and Development Organizations, OFUSS collaborates with Somali organizations across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland to advance peace and development initiatives. In Denmark, OFUSS supports integration and inclusion by guiding young people in education and employment and organizing debates, conferences, workshops, and community events. In Somalia, the organization implements humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding projects, including awareness campaigns, trust-building activities, and initiatives that strengthen social cohesion. OFUSS is a member of Civil Society in Development (CISU) and participates in the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
