WLC promotes Recognition, Respect, and Enforcement of women's rights as human rights. Our core values and principles of activity are Protection of human rights, Victim-centered approach, Integrated and comprehensive approach based on women’s legal and economic empowerment, Respect for our beneficiaries’ decisions and provision of tailored support, Professionalism and Impartiality, Non-Discrimination, Responsibility, Transparency, and Teamwork. WLC strives for change at the individual, community and systemic levels. The vision of the organization is that it operates in a community where women and their children who are victims or potential victims of gender-based violence are better protected through effective systems of monitoring, prevention and combating domestic violence established at the local and national levels. The organisation's target groups are girls and women, victims or potential victims of domestic violence, including women with multiple vulnerabilities. The organization has been involved in the advocacy and development of effective legislation and evidence-based policies on gender equality, violence against women and domestic violence and is supporting women exposed to domestic violence by providing legal counselling and representation along with psychological and social assistance and economic empowerment.
