Danner is a private funded humanitarian organization working both nationally and internationally to eliminate violence against women and children. Our vision is to realize a society free of violence. We help abused women and children live a safer life in our shelter, replace myths on violence with facts and take active measures to prevent violence. While the shelter movement in Denmark was purely voluntary until the beginning of this century, today Danner is a professional organization with more than 50 employees. However, we are proud that as many as 200 women still choose to volunteer for Danner.
CISU's World Map gives you an insight into the many worldwide projects supported by CISU's open pools, as well as the Danish organisations and their local partners who manage the projects.
When you select a country on the map, you get an overview of the projects, but you also see which CISU member organisations are active in that country.
