Project partners Danner (Danish NGO) and RWDS (Palestinian NGO) share a strong vision to reduce violence against women (VAW) in line with UN SDG 5, target 5.2 to Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres. To contribute to the above target this project focuses on prevention and protection. In terms of prevention the project address norms on violence among men, women and youth in two selected governorates (Bethlehem and Hebron). The aim is to change attitudes on gender and violence, and provide beneficiaries with skills to reduce violence. In terms of protection the project aims at strengthening the resilience of shelter staff and social workers in direct contact with survivors of VAW, professionalizing the strategic services benefitting this marginalized target group
