Founded in 1990, CONAPAC (Conservación de la Naturaleza Amazónica del Perú AC) is a Peruvian NGO committed to conservation through sustainable community development in the Amazon. Initially focused on educational support in rural communities, CONAPAC has expanded over the decades to include programs in clean water access, environmental education, and reforestation. The organization’s purpose is to empower Amazonian communities to improve their quality of life while conserving their natural environment. Its primary activities include annual school supply distributions, installation and maintenance of clean water systems, teacher training, environmental education initiatives, and tree-planting efforts involving local youth. All programs are grounded in community participation and long-term sustainability.
