ONE VISION KENYA

Established to address the environmental and socio-economic challenges facing communities along the Lake Victoria Basin, One Vision Kenya is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing environmental stewardship and sustainable development. Its mission is to empower communities particularly youth and women through initiatives that enhance climate resilience, food security, and ecological sustainability. One Vision Kenya collaborates actively with civil society organizations to advocate for climate change action, partners with schools to promote environmental education and tree planting and works directly with local communities on food security and land restoration through fruit-tree planting programs. These efforts are rooted in a participatory approach that fosters local ownership and long-term impact. By combining grassroots action with policy advocacy and capacity building, the organization is helping build communities that are environmentally responsible, economically resilient, and better equipped to manage natural resources sustainably in Migori County.
