Agency for Economic Development (AED)

The organization works in the following areas of activity: • Development of civil society organizations • Development and support of homeowners’ associations (HOAs) • Sustainable community development • Promotion of local reforms Goal: to promote democratic development of communities based on sustainable economic policy through analytical research, representation of rights and interests, and provision of resource support. The organization operates in two regions: Mykolaiv and Odesa. The main office is located in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region. Main target audiences of the organization are: 1. Initiative groups, civil society organizations, charitable foundations; 2. Local self-government officials, deputies, potential candidates for elected positions, civic activists; 3. Youth, apartment owners, and private homeowners. However, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our team expanded its focus to vulnerable categories of the population. Over the past 2.5 years, in addition to the previously established target audiences, we have also worked with internally displaced persons, veterans and their families, and families of fallen soldiers. Support includes consultations on social benefits, psychological assistance, counseling on starting a business, and obtaining grant support for entrepreneurship.
