The Rwanda Youth Forums (www.rwandayouthForums.org) “is a national youth-led, volunteer-based, and nongovernmental organization that empowers young people and women to become leaders of positive change in their communities and beyond. Established under the Rwanda One Health Youth Forums (ROHYF), RYF brings together passionate youth professionals, students, and innovators who share one belief: that education, mental health, and leadership are the true foundations of a sustainable and equitable Rwanda. RYF was created in response to a growing need for meaningful youth participation in social transformation. Rwanda’s youth make up over 60% of the population, yet many face persistent challenges such as limited educational access, mental health stigma, unemployment, and gender inequality. RYF addresses these gaps by equipping young people with knowledge, leadership skills, and opportunities to contribute actively to the nation’s development agenda.”
