ROKADA

Established in 2003 to assist refugees arriving in Ukraine from Afghanistan, Sudan and Syria, ROKADA has since expanded its work to support IDPs and people affected by the Russian war against Ukraine. Since the full-scale invasion in 2022, Rokada has provided daily assistance to war-affected Ukrainians – evacuees, IDPs, people with limited mobility, refugees and asylum seekers. The Foundation creates shelters, arranges safe spaces and responds urgently to crisis situations. Today Rokada has offices in 17 regions of Ukraine, operates in 19, and works with a team of over 740 staff and contracted specialists.
