Imagine & Build the Congo of Tomorrow (ICCOD-ONG)

"Imaginer & Construire Build the Congo to Morrow" (ICCOD-ONG), registered in 2022, is a non- profit indigenous Pygmy association created in Nyabibwe in the Kalehe Territory, in the South Kivu Province in the DR Congo by young people, women and indigenous Pygmy adults with the aim of promoting the well-being of communities, the protection of the environment as well as the sustainable development of communities. We support and accompany indigenous populations, young green entrepreneurs, women, elders and knowledge (traditional and/or modern), new and imitative ideas offering and/or likely to offer services, indigenous solutions and/or innovative and beneficial technologies to improve the resilience of indigenous pygmy and local communities in the DR Congo in particul ar and in Africa in general. The mission of ICCOD-ONG is to improve and strengthen the resilience of indigenous pygmy and local communities to climate change with a view to poverty reduction, environmental justice, protection of threatened and endangered species, protection of the environment, biodiversity and inclusive and resilient management of natural resources in the DR Congo.
