This 4 month intervention will respond to the urgent WASH needs of very vulnerable Households in Babaq and Garmaal towns by delivering lifesaving WASH assistance to 4380 people. Needed WASH NFIs will be distributed including purifying tablets, latrines will be constructed, and the population will be sensitized on proper sanitation and hygiene management. The 2 villages are high priority for WASH kits distribution intervention, based on storm assessment Reports from HADMA. The overall goal is to save the lives and improve the health of the targeted population. The project will be managed by IAS DK in collaboration with IAS Somaliland and local partner TASCO.
