Resume

The project aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children aged 3–6 in 80 rural villages in Odisha, India by strengthening nutrition, hygiene practices and the quality of early childhood services. It will increase mothers’ knowledge and everyday practices related to child feeding and sanitation and strengthen their use of ICDS services, including Anganwadi Centres and Village Health and Nutrition Days. At the same time, JAANCH and VHSNC committees will be supported to monitor service delivery, document gaps, and engage with duty bearers to improve stability, quality and accountability of local schemes. Targeted support to Anganwadi Workers will strengthen community mobilisation and home visits. The project is implemented by Aktion Børnehjælp (Action Child Aid) in partnership with Living Farms.
