Care4people
Care4People is a Danish volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development in local communities in Uganda and Zimbabwe. With over 15 years of experience operating in Africa, we collaborate closely with local partners, including Lupane Development Trust (LWDT) and Hands of Hope (HoH), to implement initiatives focused primarily on education, capacity building, and community empowerment. Our key activities focus on strengthening vulnerable schools and empowering local communities through targeted support aimed at enhancing educational opportunities, agricultural self-sufficiency, sustainable development, and health. Central to our approach is strengthening local economies through local procurement and job creation, alongside promoting access to education. We prioritize transparency, local ownership, and maximizing the direct impact of resources, operating with minimal administrative costs due to our volunteer-based structure.
