Somalisk Forening for Genopbygning (OFROSOM)

Somalisk Forening for Genopbygning (OFROSOM) blev etableret i 2004 af somaliske ressourcepersoner i Danmark med det formål at bidrage til genopbygningen af Somalia gennem humanitære indsatser og bæredygtige udviklingsprojekter. OFROSOM er en uafhængig, almennyttig non-profit organisation med base i København og er registreret i Danmark med CVR-nr. 33282869. Organisationen samarbejder med blandt andre CISU, DERF, DRC-DiPS og somaliske diasporaorganisationer om at støtte sårbare befolkningsgrupper i Somalia, der er berørt af konflikter, tørke, oversvømmelser og andre humanitære kriser. Med støtte fra internationale partnere har OFROSOM gennemført en række humanitære og udviklingsorienterede projekter med fokus på nødhjælp, beskyttelse af udsatte mennesker og styrkelse af lokalsamfundenes modstandsdygtighed.
